The Train the Trainer Course Has Been Replaced

The Train the Trainer qualification has now changed and has been replace by a new special purpose award in Training and Development. It has been designed for anyone who wants to become a qualified trainer with a recognised qualification. To achieve the special purpose award, you must successfully complete 2 components. These courses focus on a different element of the training cycle.

  2. Training Needs, Identification and Design

 

Training Delivery and Evaluation

The Training Delivery & Evaluation course, frequently referred to as the new “Train the Trainer” course. This course provides learners with the knowledge, skill and competence to deliver, assess and evaluate a training and development intervention. Training Needs, Identification and Design

The Training Needs Identification & Design course provides participants with the knowledge, skill and competence to identify training and development needs at an organisation and or individual level. It offers learners the opportunity to learn the skills of devising a training plan and to explore the scope of training and development design. Read More

 

Which Module Should I Do First?

New participants are encouraged to achieve their special purpose award commencing with the Training Needs Identification & Design module.

 

I Already Completed Train the Trainer, Are There Exemptions?

Participants who had already completed the old Train the Trainer module may be able to claim an exemption for the Training Delivery & Evaluation module (depending on when they completed their course). These participants will then only need to complete the Training Needs Identification & Design module to achieve their special purpose award in Training and Development.
